About Dr. Hany

Dr. Hany Reyad is a dedicated dentist with a commitment to providing high-quality dental care with a personal touch. Born in Jordan and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Reyad's journey in dentistry has been shaped by a deep dedication to excellence and compassionate care.

Dr. Reyad understands that visiting the dentist can be a source of anxiety for many, and he strives to create a welcoming and stress-free environment for every patient. Dr. Reyad prioritizes comfort and trust, ensuring that he listens to his patients' concerns, answers their questions, and works collaboratively to develop personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs.

Education, Training, Awards

He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences in 2014, graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Reyad continued his pursuit of dental excellence at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree with honors in 2018. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Reyad earned multiple awards, including the 2017 Pierre Fauchard Academy Oral Health Scholarship, the 2018 Dr. Robert Savage Memorial Award for exemplary patient care, and the 2018 Chancellor’s Student Service Award. He was also recognized for his role as a Peer Mentor for underclassmen. In 2018, Dr. Reyad was honored to be inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Sigma Chapter of the national Dental Honor Society, the highest accolade for a graduating dental student.

Dr. Reyad's commitment to advancing his expertise in dentistry is evident in his extensive continuing education (CE). After graduating dental school, he completed 300 CE hours through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Chicago Maxicourse, a 9 month comprehensive training program focused on dental implants. Further enhancing his skills, Dr. Reyad undertook a 27 hour continuing education course in Brazil encompassing both the surgical and prosthetic components of full arch rehabilitation.

Leadership and Associations

Dr. Reyad's leadership experience includes:

• Founding the American Dental Education Association UIC chapter
• Serving as president of the Christian Medical and Dental Association UIC chapter

He is currently a proud member of the:

• American Dental Association (ADA)
• American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD)
  
• Chicago Dental Society (CDS).
  

Heart for Service

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Reyad is deeply committed to serving his local community.

He has previously volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, serving meals to children undergoing major medical procedures, organized and collected Christmas gifts for children in third-world countries through Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child, and worked with Goldie’s Place in Chicago to provide free dental care to the homeless community.

Personal Life

Outside of the office, Dr. Reyad enjoys exploring new places and cultures, as traveling is one of his greatest passions. He also has a love for photography, capturing moments that allow him to appreciate the beauty in everyday life.

Dr. Reyad is an avid learner of new languages, which not only challenges him but also enhances his ability to connect with people from different backgrounds. He is proficient in English, Arabic, and Spanish.

Staying active is important to him, and he regularly engages in workouts which keep him energized and focused. He also enjoys running, which led him to complete his first half marathon in 2023.

Most importantly, Dr. Reyad cherishes time spent with his family, who provide him with love, support, and a grounding sense of what truly matters in life.
