Biography and Training

Being raised in the local town, Dr. Mariam Silman has deep roots in the community and a strong commitment to giving back.

Dr. Mariam is a proud of graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry, Class of 2024 where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.

Leadership, Awards, Associations

During dental school, Dr. Mariam distinguished herself not only through academic excellence but also through a commitment to community service, earning the prestigious Plater Civic Medallion.

Dr. Mariam served as the president of the Pediatric Club to help learn innovative ways to provide comfortable and effective care for children.

She also served as the president of the Global Service-Learning club, where she spent a summer on a Native Reserve, providing free dental care to local members—an experience that deepened her commitment to making a positive impact through dentistry.

With a passion for advancing dental knowledge and practice, Dr. Mariam was honored with the IN-AADOCR Predoctoral Clinical Case Report Award, a testament to her dedication to cutting edge research and clinical excellence.
